Job Summary
SEZA is seeking to recruit a highly motivated, skilled, dynamic, results oriented and innovative individual of high integrity to fill vacant positions. SEZA invites applications from suitably qualified persons to fill the position of Manager, Supply Chain Management.
Job Responsibilities
i. Developing and coordinating the preparation of annual procurement and disposal plans and their implementation;
ii. Coordinating procurement and disposal activities in the Corporation;
iii. Preparing contract documents for goods, works and services;
iv. Custodian of contract documents;
v. Liaising with the user department to ensure effective implementation of contracts for goods, works and services;
vi. Providing secretariat to committees’ incidental to procurement of goods and services, and
disposal of assets;
vii. Coordinating disposal of assets activities;
viii. Providing professional advice on procurement of goods, works and services and disposal of assets;
ix. Preparing statutory reports to PPRA; and
x. Reviewing procurement needs of the Commission.
Education Requirements
Professional Qualifications and Experience
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must possess:
i. Have Bachelors Degree in Commerce, Procurement and Supplies Management, or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
ii. Have Masters Degree in Supply Chain Management, logistics or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
iii. Have Diploma in Supplies Management or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
Experience Requirements
i. Have ten (10) years relevant work experience in public or private institution five (5) of which should have been in a senior management role;
Skills and Competence
i. Be a member of professional body either KISM or CIPS in good standing;
ii. Possess good oral and written communication skills;
iii. Have a good understanding of the SEZA Mandate;
iv. Demonstrate a high degree of professionalism and competence in work performance;
v. Be computer literate;
vi. Have good interpersonal, negotiations, and high leadership qualities.

(iii) Commission for University Education for degrees obtained outside Kenya;
(iv) Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (Clearance Certificate);
(v) Directorate of Criminal Investigation (Certificate of Good Conduct);
(vi) Credit Reference Bureau (Clearance Certificate).
