Bigger Steel Limited is a steel manufacturing and fabrication company, we are seeking to hire a Sales & Marketing Manager.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide marketing-related information necessary for decision-making, budgeting and other activities as well as active participation in budget formulation
• Conduct market research and screening of potential markets Recruiting, training, scheduling, coaching, and managing marketing and sales teams to meet sales and marketing human resource objectives.
• Implementing new sales plans and advertising.
• Continuously analyse markets and identify marketing-related risks that can adversely influence the company’s marketing positions
• Implement and manage risk mitigation strategies in line with company policy
• Work cross functionally to ensure product development plans are achieved.
• Provide marketing inputs to the Business Plan to support business growth and achieve company objectives Develop a marketing strategy, with brand and portfolio objectives, strategies and plans in line with Corporate Objectives and the Company Business Plan.
• Ensure market development by conducting market research, mapping and understanding new target segments for additional products.
• Ensure Market maps are completed for all major markets / segments / countries and competitive profiles developed together with Segment Value Propositions.
• Establish and maintain a good relationship with stakeholders (internal and external both direct and indirect) Ensure compliance with relevant legal and statutory requirements, meet principles of sound corporate governance and internationally accepted environmental, health, safety and quality standards
• Perform any other duty as may be assigned by the employer from time to time.
Key Requirements
• A bachelor’s degree in sales & marketing or related field.
• At least 5 years’ experience in sales & marketing in a steel company.
• Experience in management may be advantageous.
• Understanding and knowledge of sales and marketing.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and creative thinking skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of data analysis and report writing.
• The ability to understand and follow company policies and procedures.
• The ability to work under pressure
