Concern Worldwide is an international non-governmental humanitarian organization dedicated to the reduction of suffering and working towards the ultimate elimination of extreme poverty in the world's poorest countries
Concern Worldwide is leading a Consortium, which intends to implement the USAID funded Kenya Feed the Future (FTF) Activity subject to award of the grant by USAID. The program will accelerate inclusive and equitable agriculture led economic growth for increased incomes and food security, improved nutrition for women and children, reduced poverty and strengthening resilience of marginalized communities and systems. The multi-year project, that will be implemented in multiple counties will scale up strategic and sustainable approaches by the civil society, private and public sector to improve shock responsiveness, risk mitigation and economic well-being of vulnerable groups while integrating women and adolescent girls empowerment; youth unemployment: access to water and sanitation: climate change adaptation; peace building and social cohesion among other cross cutting issues. Start date is contingent upon award of the USAID grant. Applications are invited for the following positions:
Job Title: Chief of Party (COP) Duty Station: Nairobi
The COP will report to the Country Director of Concern Worldwide Kenya and the Programme Steering Committee. The COP will provide overall leadership and management with an integrated approach for the program to achieve the desired results. The COP will work with USAID and liaise closely with both national and international consortium partners, government, the Project Management Team, Concern's Technical Advisors/Specialists, Programme Managers. Finance and System Departments, and Concern HQ. The COP will supervise project staff including providing professional performance management and coaching.
Job Title: Deputy Chief of Party - Programmes (DCOP-P) Duty Station Nairobi
The DCOP-P will report to the Chief of Party. The DCOP-P will support the Chief of Party in providing overall leadership and technical management with an integrated approach for the program to achieve the desired results. The DCOP-P will work with the COP and liaise with consortium partners. Concern's Technical Advisors/Specialists, Programme Managers, Finance and System Departments, and Concern HQ.
Job Title: Deputy Chief of Party - Systems (DCOP-S) Duty Station: Nairobi
The DCOP-S will report to the Chief of Party. The DCOP-S will support the Chief of Party and be responsible for the overall management for the programs support functions - administration, security, IT, HR, procurement and logistics. He/she will ensure appropriate systems are in place to meet program needs, while ensuring the effective and efficient use of Concern's resources.
Job Title: Collaborating, Learning and Adapting (CIA) Advisor Duty Station: Nairobi
The CLA Advisor will report to the Chief of Party, and will line manage the MEAL Manager. The CLA Advisor will be responsible for the overall monitoring, evaluation, learning and accountability programme cycle management.
