Job Description
To lead the integration team and manage the bank's integration components, ensuring the smooth and efficient exchange of data between systems and the delivery of high-quality integration services. The job Holder will be required to have extensive experience in various integration services and technologies with emphasis on emerging and modern integration services. He/She will be charged with responsibility to proactively review the existing landscape and put in place measures to availability and throughput as per Service Level Objectives.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee and manage the integration team, ensuring all team members are adequately trained and equipped to provide exceptional integration support.
• Develop and maintain processes and procedures for the support and maintenance of the bank's integration components. Develop and maintain the bank's technical documentation and procedures for integration support.
• Collaborate with the bank's technology and operations teams, development teams, architecture team, and channel support to ensure the smooth and efficient exchange of data between systems.
• Ensure all integration components follow relevant regulations and standards, including cybersecurity and data privacy requirements.
• Manage vendor relationships for integration components, negotiating service agreements and ensuring vendor performance meets the bank's expectations.
• Conduct regular preventive maintenance checks and routine health checks on integration components and Implement observability of the integration landscape putting in place a mechanism to proactively identify and escalate exceptions.
• Develop and implement plans to upgrade and modernize the bank's integration infrastructure, including the transition to an enterprise-grade design with practices built in to ensure operational efficiency.
• Manage the bank's budget for integration support and maintenance.
• Work independently and collaboratively with other support teams to troubleshoot integration platforms, server performance issues and tune the environment based on findings to achieve desired outcomes.
• Document and implement integration service development governance and standards. This includes API standards, DevOps practices and cloud adoption. Coordinate releases of new products and services into production, ensure alignment of all stakeholders, review runbooks and change work instructions to ensure deployment as per plan while achieving non-functional and operational requirements.
The Person
For the above position, the successful applicant should have the following:
• Minimum 7 Years’ working experience is Required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in IT/Computer Science or Technical related
• Any Middleware/integration training/certification
• Master’s degree in technical or business related will be an added advantage.
• 5 years’ experience technical knowledge in specialty area Redhat Integrations, [ESB - SOA and web services concepts] and integration technologies coupled with complementary areas of knowledge.
• 5 years’ experience Strong fundamental knowledge agile, DevSecOps, and CI/CD automation tools such as Jenkins, JMeter, Git, Stash, SonarQube, GitOps
• 5 years working experience with messaging systems, preferably RedHat MQ, AMQ, IBM MQ and messaging concepts and technologies.
• 3 years’ RDBMS experience working with large and high-performance databases such as Oracle, Mongo DB etc
• Knowledge of Java, J2EE, XML, Redhat OpenShift
• 3 years working experience in Linux systems administration, shell scripting, networking, storage, and security concepts for different integration technologies.
