Job Description
This is a senior management position reporting to the Managing Director, the job holder will be
responsible for leading and managing the Human Resources and Administration functions of the
company. The role holder will be expected to provide strategic direction and operational support
to ensure the effective management of the company's human resources and administrative
functions.
Key Responsibilities
1) Develop and implement human resource policies and procedures that align with the
organization's goals and objectives.
2) Oversee the recruitment, selection, and placement of staff to ensure that the right people with
the right skills are hired for the right job.
3) Manage the performance management process to ensure that employees are motivated,
engaged, and performing to the best of their abilities.
4) Develop and implement training and development programs to enhance the skills and
competencies of employees.
5) Oversee the administration function, including facilities management, security, and records
management.
6) Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to human resources and
administration.
7) Manage employee relations and handle employee grievances and disciplinary actions.
8) Collaborate with other departments to support the achievement of the company's objectives.
9) Prepare and present human resource and administration reports to the executive management
team.
Required Qualifications.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or other relevant degree from a
recognized university.
Master’s degree in the relevant field will be an added advantage.
Higher National Diploma in HRM
Must have CHRP-K
Must be a member of Institute of Human Resources Management in good standing.
Five years’ experience and at least 2 years in a management level,
Computer literacy and familiarity with standard office computer applications.
Good management and negotiation skill.
Good interpersonal and communication skills
