Job Description

Position: Branch Manager – Ref: BM/ASK/O1

Agricultural Society of Kenya (A.S.K), a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing
technology, research, and growth in agriculture and allied sectors, invites you to join our
team in the role of a Branch Manager.

Responsibilities:
 Business Growth: Drive revenue growth and business development at the Branch
level.
 Information Management: Oversee information reporting and ensure adherence
to established A.S.K policies.
 Financial Management: Improve revenue streams and monitor expenditure to
enhance financial performance.
 Customer Relations: Enhance service quality, customer growth, and retention
strategies.
 Compliance: Ensure compliance with A.S.K regulations and procedures.
 Operational Oversight: Supervise Staff development and ensure smooth Branch
operations.
 Committee Liaison: Implement decisions of the Branch Committee and
collaborate with Stakeholders.

Qualifications:
 Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related
fields with a minimum of six (6) years experience in a similar role. Postgraduate
Diploma in Management is an advantage.
 Professional Certifications: Diploma in Business Management or Marketing is beneficial.

 Leadership & Organizational Skills: Proven ability to plan, organize, and
evaluate goals effectively.
 Integrity & Ethics: High standards of integrity and ethical practice are
imperative.
 Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; adept at
conveying business strategies.
 Interpersonal Skills: Strong relationship-building capabilities with clients, team
members, and stakeholders.
 People Management: Proficient in problem-solving, decision-making, conflict
resolution, and effective people management.
 Business Acumen: Strong understanding of industry trends, market preferences,
and new business identification strategies.
 Innovation & Initiative: Initiative-driven with a methodical approach to policy
impact and work process enhancement.
 Technology Proficiency: Computer literacy in MS Office applications.
