REQUIREMENTS FOR APPOINTMENT
For appointment to this position, a candidate must have:
i. Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (mean grade of D).
ii. Meet Chapter Six (6) of the constitution of Kenya 2010; Integrity, Honesty and
Accountability
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This is the entry grade for this cadre. An officer at this level may be deployed to work at any
of the Departments at the Headquarters or County Offices under the supervision of a senior
officer. Specifically, duties and responsibilities will include:
1. Performing general confidential work as directed by the Head of Administration
services;
2. Ensure general Office cleanliness and sanitation;
3. Preparing and serving tea to staff in a timely manner and within the set hygiene and
quality standards;
4. Collecting and disposing waste including papers;
5. Arranging the Office equipment and furniture;
6. Dispatching mails within and outside the office; and
7. Assisting in preparation of documents.
