QUALIFICATIONS,REQUIREMENTS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Requirement for Appointment:-
i. Diploma in any of the following disciplines – Supply Chain Management, Commerce (Supplies Management option), Procurement or any other equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
ii. Proficiency in computer application skills.
iii. Membership of a professional body
Duties and Responsibilities: -
i. Implement supply chain policies for the County;
ii. Adherence to strict compliance with rules of procurement process and supply chain cycle;
iii. Implement existing supplies regulations, procedures and system;
iv. Recommend disposal of unserviceable stores and equipment;
v. Implement procurement manual;
vi. Prepare procurement plans;
vii. Source for goods and services;
viii. Conduct stock control, stock taking and stock audit
ix. Implement e-procurement strategies
