QUALIFICATIONS,REQUIREMENTS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Basic Salary Scale: Ksh. 50,610.00 – 67,110.00 (CPSB 07)
House Allowance: Ksh. 22,000 p.m
Commuter Allowance: Ksh. 8,000 p.m
Other Allowances as Per the SRC Circulars
Terms of Service: Three (3) Years Contract (Renewable)
Requirements for Appointment: -
i. Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or any Social Science Degree with Human Resource Option;
ii. Must have at least four (4) years relevant working experience;
iii. Possess a current valid practicing certificate;
iv. Membership to a relevant professional body; and
v. Well versed with (Integrated Personnel Payroll Database) IPPD Software for Payroll Management
vi. Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills;
Duties and Responsibilities: -
i. Develop, review, interpret and implement policies, rules, regulations, procedures and strategies for payroll management;
ii. Responsible for the management of integrated personnel and county payroll data system;
iii. Coordinate processing of monthly payroll;
iv. Coordinate preparation of the personnel emolument budget;
v. Ensure inputs of third party deduction into the payroll;
vi. Ensure the correct interpretation and implementation of human resource regulations including pensions, salary administration, labor laws and other statutes that impact on human;
vii. Investigate, reconcile and take appropriate action on all monthly payroll variations;
viii. Provide monthly payroll reports to the relevant departments;
ix. Coordinate the training and development of staff in the payroll section; and
x. Preparing budget for the Human Resource faction
xi. Plan, monitor and evaluate performance of staff against the set targets.
