QUALIFICATIONS,REQUIREMENTS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Basic Salary Scale: Ksh. 26,900.00- 35,380.00 (CPSB 11)
House Allowance: Ksh. 4,500 p.m
Commuter Allowance: KSh. 4,000 p.m
Other Allowances as Per the SRC Circulars
Terms of Service: Three (3) Years Contract (Renewable)

Requirements for Appointment: -
i. Diploma in Secretarial studies from the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) OR
ii. Business Education Single and Group Certificates (BES & GC) from the Kenya National Examinations Council in the following subjects: -
a. Typewriting III (50 w.p.m) Computerized Document Processing III
b. Shorthand II (80 w.p.m)
c. Business English II/ Communications I;
d. Office Practice II
e. Secretarial Duties II
f. Commerce II
g. Office Management III/ Office Administration and Management III
h. Certificate in Computer applications from a recognized institution.

Duties and Responsibilities: -
i. Undertake data processing;
ii. Ensure security of office records, documents and equipment;
iii. Maintain an up-to-date filing system in the office;
iv. Manage office protocol;
v. Manage office petty cash;
vi. Handle telephone calls and appointments; and
vii. Supervise office cleanliness and any other office administrative service duties that may be assigned.
