QUALIFICATIONS,REQUIREMENTS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Basic Salary Scale: Ksh. 26,900.00- 35,380.00 (CPSB 11)
House Allowance: Ksh. 4,500 p.m
Commuter Allowance: KSh. 4,000 p.m.
Other Allowances as Per the SRC Circulars
Terms of Service: Three (3) Years Contract (Renewable)
Requirements for Appointment: -
i. Diploma in any of the following disciplines: Security Management, Criminology, Crime Prevention and Management, Information Communication Technology (ICT), Disaster Management, Social Work and Community Development or its equivalent from a recognized institution; and
ii. Proficiency in computer applications;
Duties and Responsibilities: -
i. Ensure adherence to county laws and other relevant Acts;
ii. Provide custody of relevant enforcement records;
iii. Enforce discipline among the officers under him/her to adhere to applicable policies and procedures;
iv. Carry out surveillance, detect and report any suspicious activities;
v. Coordinate collection of relevant intelligence information and report on matters of County interest;
vi. Prepare duty roster and allocate duties to officers under him/her;
vii. Train and mentor staff under his/her supervision;
viii. Attend court when needed;
ix. Write and submit statements;
x. Supervise staff working under him/her; and
xi. Carry out regular patrols in parking areas to ensure orderly parking and traffic management;
