Job Description:
Reporting to the Group Finance, Administration & Strategy Officer this position is responsible for providing leadership, managing, and overseeing the company's procurement and supply chain function including inventory management, procurement processes and procedures, and logistics to ensure delivery of the best quality, price and terms from suppliers/ providers as well as manage costs for the organization. Working closely with the managers , the successful job holder will establish effective and efficient procurement operations including ensuring procurement based on needs, establish and implement best practice in identification & negotiation with suppliers; contract management and service delivery; managing inventory and stock holding while ensuring adherence to the company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Applicants must be in possession of a bachelor's degree preferably in procurement and supply, with professional qualification in procurement (CIPS) and valid membership to a relevant professional body. Master's degree in business administration will be a distinct advantage. The successful candidate must have a minimum of 5 years cumulative experience in a similar position in a hospital or health related area. Knowledge of importation processes and the applicable tax requirements will be required.
