join our team for the position below:
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT OFFICER
The jobholder is responsible for increasing income and revenue by managing, negotiating and
meeting client’s needs, generating leads and qualifying prospects for SMEs in the areas of open
trainings, in-house trainings and general consultancies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
a) Market and sell open training, consultancies and in house trainings for the SME
department to both potential and existing clients.
b) Initiate client/prospect meetings for new sales opportunities through booking
appointments.
c) Interface with existing strategic customers to solidify mutual expectations of performance
and growth.
d) Enhance relationship management for new and existing business to maintain and grow
the customer base.
e) Make presentations to potential clients to promote new products and special deals
available.
f) Carry out market intelligence and giving constant feedback to the business on trends in
the market.
g) Ensure timely collection of payments from clients after service delivery.
h) Develop consultancies proposal for potential assignments.
i) Responsible for proposal development for sourcing of business.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
a) Seamless implementation of assignments to client’s standards.
b) Annual budget realization
c) High level customer satisfaction for repeat business.
d) Developing high quality training proposals.
e) Identify, source and supervise trainers and consultants to meet the demands of the
assignment.
f) Successfully deliver training and consultancy reports to the clients’ satisfaction.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPEREINCE REQUIRED
a) Bachelor Degree in Marketing and Business-related field.
b) Three (3) years of relevant work experience.
