ICT SYSTEMS OFFICER, JOB GROUP J (1 POSITION)
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
1. Degree in Information Communication Technology, Computer Science, /Engineering.
2. Certified Information System Analyst (CISA)
3. Computer Literacy.
4. Equivalent experience of two years.
5. Meet the requirements of Chapter six of the constitution.
6. Certificate of good Conduct
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Provide support and maintenance to the existing management information systems
2. Generate and distribute management reports in accurate and timely manner
3. Take part in installation and configuration of computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners to ensure the consumers of the same are able to do so with minimum or no challenges
4. Undertake scheduled maintenance upgrades to ensure efficient systems running and improve usability and security of the systems
5. Provide input to equipment repairs and replacement of damaged parts for efficient functioning of equipment and to ensure longevity and optimum utilization of the equipment
6. Provide computer users with first line support services to ensure normal running of operations within the institution
7. Generate both periodic and ad hoc reports as needed.
