SECOND CLERK ASSISTANT JOB GROUP ‘M’ (NYACASB 7) – TWO (2) POSITIONS
(a) Duties and responsibilities
i. Providing secretarial services to Committees that may be assigned from time to time;
ii. Providing administrative liaison with other established departments and directorates,
within the established procedures and policies, for allocated committees;
iii. Providing liaison services for the assigned committees with other entities;
iv. Providing procedural and technical advice to the assigned committees;
v. Coordinating the secretariat of the assigned committees
vi. Developing and overseeing the implementation of the assigned committees’ work plans;
vii. Advising on capacity development for assigned committees;
viii. Preparing reports on matters pertaining to the business of the assigned committee; and
ix. Performing any other duties that may be assigned by the supervisor from to time.
(b) Minimum requirements for appointment
A suitable candidate for appointment to this position shall be considered against the following qualifications:
i. A minimum of a bachelor’s degree preferably in the field of Social Sciences including and not limited to: Economics, Public Administration, Human Resource Management, Law, Communication, Business Administration, Education, Commerce or its equivalent
qualification from a recognized institution
ii. Show merit and ability in relevant performance and results through previous work experience
iii. Meets the requirements of Leadership and Integrity set out in Chapter six of Kenyan
Constitution
