REQUIREMENTS FOR APPOINTMENT
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have: -
(i) Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) grade C Plain;
(i) Certificate in Computer Applications from a recognized institution; and
(ii) Meet the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya 2010;

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
An officer at this level may be deployed at any of the Departments at the Headquarters or a
County Office. Specifically, duties and responsibilities will include:
1. Maintaining an efficient filing system;
2. Posting different entries in relevant ledgers and requisitions as per the ODPP procedures
and provide information used to monitor the utilization of resources in the institution;
3. Drafting simple correspondences as advised;
4. Compiling simple statistical records based on routine or special sources of information;
5. Receipt and record entry and exit of office information material;
6. Sort and distribute incoming mail;
7. Entry of data in computer regarding prosecution cases;
8. Update and maintain databases as directed to ensure accuracy and up-to-date
information;
9. confirm the mention and hearing notices, fixing hearing and mentions dates with the
courts;
10. Give feedback on issues observed in the delivery of work;
11. Open and retrieve files as directed; and
12. Operate photocopiers, scanners, personal computers and voicemail systems.
