Job Description
A Tea manufacturing Company in Kenya is looking for a Human Resource Manager to perform the following duties:- 1. Initiate, develop and implement appropriate human resource policies, processes
2. Designing and implementation of innovative and competitive reward strategies
3. Managing employee relations as per statutory and company policies
4. Management and monitoring welfare programs including occupational health and safety.
5. Management of third party vendors and consultants
6. Ensure pro-active, regular, and relevant communication flow
7. Prepare timely and accurate reports for management decision making.
8. Provide leadership to achieve high performance by ensuring employee development,
9. Ensure timely payroll processing and adherence to statutory requirements
10. Preparing, monitoring, and managing budget in relevant functional area.
11. Ensure adherence to the Kenya Data Protection Act.
12. Any other duty as may be assigned
Key Skills and Competencies
Qualifications:
1. Degree in Human Resource Management or related field.
2. Professional qualifications in CHRP, IHRM or related fields.
3. Member of the Institute of Human Resource Management Kenya
4. Computer literate with excellent communication skills and a team player.
5. Familiarity with Environmental Management and Co-ordination Act No. 8 of 1999 (EMCA), Occupational Safety
and Health Act 2007, KEBS standards and regulations.
6.5 Years' Experience. Tea industry experience will be an added advantage.
