Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities will entail:
• Reviewing Information Technology strategies, policies, and procedures;
• Developing and implementing comprehensive IT disaster recovery strategies;
• Managing ICT standards in line with the emerging needs;
• Monitoring and evaluating ICT projects and programmes;
• Upgrading existing systems;
• Enforcing systems integrity and security
Job Specification
For appointment to this grade, an officer must have:
• At least eight (8) years’ work experience in ICT, three (3) of which must have been in a supervisory role;
• Masters Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
• Relevant professional certification in ICT; CCNP/CCNA or MCIP/MCSE or CISM/CISA;
• Management Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution;
• Proficiency in Computer Applications; and
• Fulfilled the requirements of chapter 6 of the constitution.
