Job Description
Victory Farms is looking for an innovative Construction Engineer to design, develop and construct a huge range of
projects. The role of the Construction Engineer will be to help Victory Farms in designing and executing our
construction projects. The successful candidate will manage, design, develop, create and maintain construction
projects. He she will conduct on-site investigations and analyze data, assess potential risks, materials and costs. The
ideal candidate would be a self-starter who thrives in a fast growing and dynamic environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Manage, design, develop, create and maintain small-scale through to large-scale construction projects in a safe,
timely and sustainable manner.
• Conduct on-site investigations and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings…).
• Carry out technical and feasibility studies and draw up blueprints that satisfy technical specifications.
• Assess potential risks, materials and costs.
• Provide advice and resolve creatively any emerging problems/deficiencies.
• Monitor progress and compile reports in project status.
• Manage budget and purchase equipment/materials.
• Perform other relevant tasks as instructed by your direct report.
QUALIFICATIONS/COMPETENCIES
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• At least 6+ years’ experience in construction projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D and design skills.
• Experienced with handling BOQs and project planning.
• Project management and supervision skills.
• Prepare and share updates with management and senior executives.
• Planning and organization skills, ability to independently prioritize tasks.
• A demonstrated commitment to professionalism, a strong work ethic, high standards & integrity.
EMPLOYMENT DETAILS
• Status: Full time
• Compensation: 300-350k gross monthly; bonus will be tied to project completion on time, and on budget
• Location: 50% Kisumu 50% Victory Farms construction sites
