Job Profile
Functional Purpose
Reporting to the General Manager, and based in Nyeri, the Operations Manager will be responsible for managing all day-to-day operational aspects of the business.
Key roles
• Manage All day-to-day operational aspects of the business in liaison with the Project Engineer and site Manager.
• Ensure seamless flow of Projects Operations, Transport, Deliveries, Fueling, Maintenance & Service of Plant, Machinery and Vehicles.
• Coordinate Fleet, Drivers and Operators.
• Coordinate Workshop Team in liaison with Mechanics and Project Engineer & Site Manager for Project Outputs and Targets.
• Reduce on Operational & Maintenance Cost of Vehicles & Machinery.
• Liaise with the Procurement Department on requisitions and timelines.
Qualifications and competencies
• Bachelor's degree in Business Management / Commerce or any business-related field.
• Seven (7) years of working experience in a manufacturing/Construction Industry in Operations department with demonstrable success track record
• Must possess good people management Skills and Interpersonal skills.
• Energetic with a people centric demeanor
• Ability to work with minimum supervision.
