Salary Scale: Kshs. 38,270 x 1,470 – 39,740 x 1,520 – 41,260 x 1,710 – 42,970 x 1,920
– 44,890 x 2,000 – 46,890 x 2,110 – 49,000 x 2,170 – 51,170 p.m.
Terms of service: permanent and pensionable
Duties and Responsibilities
Work at this level will be similar to that of Human Resource Officer II, but of a wider
complexity. However, the officer will work under minimum supervision and may be
deployed to oversee the Human Resource function in a Health facility or in a unit within
the Human Resource Management Directorate at Public Service Management or a section
in a large County Department.
Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, an officer must have:-
i. Served as a Human Resource Management Officer II for a minimum period of
three (3) years;
ii. Certificate of computer applications from a recognized institution; and
iii. Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
