QUALIFICATIONS,REQUIREMENTS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Basic Salary Scale: Ksh. 39,700.00 - 52,960.00 (CPSB 09)
House Allowance: Ksh. 12,800 p.m
Commuter Allowance: Ksh. 5,000 p.m.
Other Allowances as Per the SRC Circulars
Terms of Service: Three (3) Years Contract (Renewable)
Requirements for appointment:-
i. Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or Business Administration preferably with a bias in Marketing or related field from a recognized institution.
ii. Creative and innovative thinker;
iii. Excellent communication skills; and
iv. Networking, interpersonal and collaboration skills for effective partnership working;
Duties and Responsibilities: -
i. Develop marketing strategy for new and existing products & services within the county;
ii. Carry out the day to day activities of the marketing team;
iii. Develop marketing strategies including branding, advertising aimed at improving marketing of the community products;
iv. Work closely and assist individuals and producer business groups such as co-operative societies, self-help groups in developing marketing strategies;
v. Undertake market research and advise on market trends;
vi. Prepare and submit quarterly marketing reports; and
vii. Plan, monitor and evaluate performance of staff against the set targets.
